Caroma L1 Electric Scooter: Powerful 350W/500W/750W Motor
Meet the Caroma Electric Scooter—your new ride for zipping around town without breaking a sweat. It's not just any scooter; it's a foldable powerhouse with a 350W motor (that can punch up to 630W when you need it), hitting speeds of 20 mph. Whether you're tackling hills with its 20% climbing ability or cruising on a full charge (just 4 hours for an 18-mile range), it's got your back for daily commutes or those 'I forgot my coffee' dashes.
And because we know stopping is just as important as going, safety's baked in. Think auto-lighting headlights for those late-night rides and taillights that flash like a disco when you brake. Plus, with a dual braking system (EABS anti-lock and DISC), you're stopping on a dime—0.1S to be exact. And those 8.5-inch inner honeycomb tires? They eat bumps for breakfast, giving you a smooth ride.
Smart riding? You bet. There's a slick LED display to keep tabs on your speed, mode, and how much juice you've got left. Hook it up to Bluetooth, and the app lets you tweak settings like max speed or kick into cruise control. With 3 speed modes, it's like having a scooter that adapts to your mood.
At 26.5 pounds, it's light enough to carry but sturdy enough to ride. Folds up in 3 seconds—faster than you can say 'where's my helmet?' And with UL 2272 certification and a 365-day warranty on accessories, it's as reliable as it is fun.

I bought this Caroma scooter hoping it would make my daily trips to campus easier, but it's been a letdown. The first time I tried to tackle a hill, it barely made it up, and I had to push it part of the way—NOT what I signed up for. The range is a joke; I barely get halfway through my day before needing a charge, which takes forever. The display is nice, but the Bluetooth feature is useless since it disconnects constantly. I'm a loyal Caroma fan from past products, but this feels like a step back. It's most likely not built for serious use, and I'm incredibly disappointed. I'll stick to walking for now, as it's more reliable.
- Pros: It folds up quickly and is light enough to carry around, which is handy for storing in small spaces. The lights work automatically and make me feel a bit safer when riding at night, and the tires handle bumps on Seattle's rough streets better than I expected.
- Cons: The battery life is shorter than advertised, and it struggles on hills, making my commute frustrating. The brakes don't feel as reliable as they should, and the app connection is glitchy, often dropping out when I need it most. For the price, I expected more durability and performance.
