as a student in dallas, i picked this up from the store, which was convenient, but overall, i'm a bit disappointed. compared to others in the same price range, it's okay but not perfect. i expected more from a brand like segway. it's fine for short trips, but if you're a perfectionist like me, you might notice the little things that don't add up. for learning and getting around, it works, but i wish it had a bit more oomph and reliability. i'd say it's fairly average—does the job but could be better.
- Pros: it's fairly sturdy and handles bumps well, making rides smooth, and i liked that it folds up small for easy storage, which was convenient for my small apartment. the speed is decent for getting around dallas without feeling too slow, and the display shows useful info at a glance.
- Cons: i didn't like the range as much as i hoped; it seemed to run out of juice faster than expected, especially when i wasn't going easy on it. the brakes felt a bit touchy at times, and for the price, i thought it would handle heavier loads better, but it struggled a bit with me and my kid on board.
