before getting this, my kid had a basic scooter that was clunky and didn't last. now, with this one, rides are much more enjoyable and safer. it's very intuitive to use, and the lighting adds a fun element for evening adventures. as it seemed to me, it's a solid choice, though not perfect—i wish it were lighter and had better speed control. compared to others, it stands out for its adjustability and safety features, but there's room for improvement. overall, a good buy that meets most needs :)
