Razor E100 Glow Electric Scooter for Kids with LED Light-Up Deck: LED light-up deck
🚀 Razor E100 Glow Electric Scooter - Think of it as your kid's first taste of freedom (minus the paperwork). Perfect for those 8 and up, this scooter isn't just about getting from A to B; it's about doing it in style with an LED light-up deck that turns heads and an 8" pneumatic front tire that smooths out the bumps like a dream. Zooming up to 10 mph, it offers up to 40 minutes of ride time—enough to tire them out before dinner.
🔧 What's under the hood? Well, for starters, the handlebar adjusts to keep up with your kid's growth spurts (because they grow like weeds, don't they?). Speed control is a twist away, thanks to the twist-grip acceleration, and stopping is just as easy with the hand-operated front brake. Built like a tank with an all-steel frame and fork, it's ready to withstand the apocalypse—or at least the backyard. And yes, it's UL2272 certified, because safety isn't just a checkbox for us.
- Adjustable handlebar: grows with your kid

As an engineer, I'm fairly skeptical about toys like this, but I have to admit, this scooter from Razor surprised me. My niece is eight and she's been having a blast with it, zipping around the neighborhood and showing off the light-up deck—it really does turn heads. The construction is solid, all steel, so it seems durable enough for her rough play, and I appreciate that it's built to last with adjustable parts. The ride is comfortable thanks to the front tire smoothing things out, and the controls are intuitive; she picked it up quickly without any issues. Battery life is a letdown though, it only goes for about forty minutes which isn't great if she wants to play longer, and the speed caps out at a point where she might outgrow it soon. Still, for a first scooter, it's a decent choice. It met my basic expectations but didn't wow me—I thought it would have better performance or longer runtime given the cost. Overall, it does the job and she loves it, so I can't complain too much, but I might look for something with more oomph next time.
- Pros: The deck lights up which is super cool and my niece loves it, the ride is smooth with that front tire handling bumps well, and it feels sturdy like it can take a beating. Adjusting the handlebar is easy so it should last as she grows, and the speed control is straightforward with a simple twist to go and a hand brake to stop. It's certified safe which gives me peace of mind.
