As a stay-at-home dad in Leicester, I bought this to enhance our living room ambiance and provide some extra warmth during the UK winters. After using it for a couple of months, it's become a nice addition for cozy evenings with the family. The kids love the colorful flames, and it's quiet enough not to disturb our reading sessions. A tip: place it near seating areas for best heat distribution, but don't rely on it as a primary heater in very cold spells. Overall, it does what it promises for ambiance, but the heating could be improved. I'd recommend it with that caveat :)
