I bought this to keep an eye on my wife who has some mobility issues. How does it perform? Well it does the job but not perfectly. The camera gives a decent view and I can zoom in to see details which is good for my photo interests. But why does it get so warm? It makes me cautious about leaving it on all day. The range is fine for our small house but I wish the alerts were louder. Is it worth the money? For a budget option it seems okay but I expected more. Would I recommend it? Maybe with some improvements.
- Pros: The one-touch button is extremely handy for quick alerts and the two-way talk is clear making communication easy. The night vision works well in the dark and the reminders for things like medication are useful. I appreciate that it doesn't need Wi-Fi and has a good range for monitoring.
- Cons: The screen seems a bit small and hard to read at times and the battery doesn't last as long as I'd like especially when it runs hot. Setting it up took some effort and the sound quality could be better for the price.
