As a teacher I bought this to use in my classroom hoping it would help explain renewable energy The kids enjoyed building it and seeing it move in the sun but on overcast days it just sits there useless It's a neat idea and sparked some interest in sustainability but it's not reliable enough for regular lessons I might recommend it for sunny climates or as a one-off activity but here it's a bit disappointing
- Pros: The delivery was quick and I liked that it runs on sunlight no batteries needed which is great for teaching kids about energy in a hands-on way It's incredibly engaging for young minds and makes learning fun without costing much
- Cons: It only works well on very bright days which is a bit of a beast in London's cloudy weather and the assembly could be tricky for beginners like me I could be wrong but it might not hold up over time
