As someone who's into gaming and tech, I was curious about this thing. I mean, it's a solar-powered robot that looks like a bug—what's not to question? I set it up, and yeah, it moves, but it's not very reliable. On cloudy days, it barely works, and the movement is jerky, not smooth like you'd hope. It's educational, I'll give it that, but for an adult without kids, it feels more like a novelty than something substantial. I can see it being fun for a classroom, but for me, it's just okay. Not terrible, but not great either. Issues are fixable if they improve the design, but as is, it's a bit of a letdown.
- Pros: The packaging was intact, which is always a relief. It's very simple to operate—just set it in the sun, and it starts moving with that creepy insect-like walk. No need for batteries, which is a nice touch for something that's supposed to teach about energy.
- Cons: It seems a bit flimsy and doesn't always move smoothly; sometimes it just stops if the light isn't perfect. For a perfectionist like me, the build quality could be better—it feels cheap and might not last long. Also, it's a bit unsettling to have a fake cockroach skittering around, even if it's educational.
