i bought this for my home to use as an extra fridge, mostly for drinks and some pet food storage. as a teacher, i like things to be organized and reliable, but this one has its ups and downs. it does a decent job overall, but i've had a few issues with temperature fluctuations, and the noise can be distracting. it's not perfect, but it works okay for what i need. i'd say it's a middle-of-the-road choice—good for basic use but not the best out there.
