Log Dc12-24V Door Switch with IR Proximity Sensor: Infrared proximity sensor

Door Switch with IR Proximity Sensor — Dimmer Switches, Log

Imagine a tiny, silent sentinel for your dark spaces—this door switch with an IR proximity sensor automates lighting with a flicker of infrared intelligence. It’s built for spots like wine cellars, wardrobes, and cabinets, where hands-free light is a game-changer. When a door opens, the sensor catches the motion and flips the light on; close it, and the light shuts off, saving energy and hassle.

But it’s not all robot rules: a dual touch control lets you manually override the system, because sometimes you just need to take charge. A subtle LED indicator glows to confirm the switch’s status—no guessing games here.

Beyond convenience, this gadget is a frugal friend: it stops lights from burning out or running up your bill by accident, stretching bulb life and trimming costs. Installation? A breeze for DIYers or pros, with standard wiring for 12-24V DC systems, fitting snugly into homes or businesses without a fuss.

Decision:

i got this for my walk-in closet and it's been a game-changer honestly, installation was easy even though i'm not super into diy, just followed the wires and it worked right away, the little light that shows it's on is a nice touch so i don't have to guess, it turns the light on when i open the door and off when i close it, which is perfect for saving energy and not burning out bulbs, i can override it with a touch if i need light without opening the door, which is handy for cleaning or whatever, it arrived on time and seems well-made, no problems after using it for a bit, would definitely recommend to anyone tired of dark spaces :)

  • Pros: the automatic light thing is super handy for my dark closet, no more fumbling for a switch, and i like that i can still turn it on manually if i want, plus it seems to save on electricity which is a nice bonus
  • Cons: nothing really bad to say, it does what it promised without any issues so far, maybe a bit pricey for what it is but worth it for the convenience
