as a sales manager im always looking for a good deal and this seemed like a nice diy kit to unwind with after a long day i bought it to have a hands-on activity away from screens and maybe use it as a night light in my home office the building process was okay at first but i ran into issues with some pieces not lining up right and i had to use a bit of force which made me worry about breaking it it took me a whole weekend to finish and i ended up with sore fingers the final globe looks cute and the light is gentle but its not very practical because its dim and only lights up a small area i might use it as a decoration on a shelf but not for reading or anything my partner thought it was neat but agreed it was overpriced for what it is overall it was a fun experience but not something id buy again or recommend unless youre really into puzzles and dont mind the flaws
- Pros: i liked that it was fairly easy to plug in with a usb cable from my laptop or a power bank and it gives off a soft light that makes the room cozy :) the building part was a fun little project to take my mind off work and it feels good to say i made it myself
- Cons: from what i feel the wooden pieces were a bit tricky to put together and some didnt fit well which was frustrating it took way longer than a few hours and the light isnt very bright so it doesnt work great as a night light in a bigger room also for the price i expected better quality materials
