I bought this expecting a reliable tool for my hobby projects like maintaining temperatures for photography equipment storage and it mostly delivers. However as someone who values precision and quality I feel there are minor flaws that keep it from being perfect. Overall it's a solid choice if you can overlook the small delays and slight complexity in setup.
- Pros: The temperature control is incredibly precise and holds steady once set which is exactly what I needed for my projects. The display is clear and easy to read making it simple to monitor readings in real time. It handles a wide range of voltages without issues and the automatic switching between heating and cooling saves energy and keeps everything stable.
- Cons: The delivery was delayed by a day which was a bit annoying though it arrived fine in the end. For a perfectionist like me I wish the setup was a bit more intuitive it took some time to figure out the initial configuration. The build feels a bit plasticky and not as robust as I expected for the price.
