I bought this to upgrade my old peephole, and overall, it does the job well. The screen is top-notch and provides a good view, and being able to monitor things remotely is handy. However, I'm quite unhappy with how often it false alarms; it pings me for every little thing, which disrupts my day. Installation was a hassle—I had to fiddle with it for a while to get it right, and that was frustrating. For the price, I expected better reliability and ease of use. It's functional, but not without its flaws, and as a competent user, I found some aspects lacking. I'd recommend it with reservations, but it's not perfect.
- Pros: The display is quite clear and makes it easy to see who is at the door without straining my eyes. I appreciate that it connects to my home network, allowing me to check the view from my phone when I'm not nearby. It alerts me when there's movement outside, which adds a layer of security, and the installation felt secure against tampering.
- Cons: As it seemed to me, the setup was a bit fiddly and took longer than expected, which was disappointing for someone who values efficiency.
