As a healthcare worker, I'm always cautious about security and practicality. I bought this Vestidos lock thinking it would make life easier, and in some ways, it does. But I have to ask myself, is it really that reliable? The fingerprint feature is nice when it works, but it misses sometimes, making me wonder if I should just stick to a code. The app control is cool, but I don't use it much—it seems like overkill for my needs. Overall, it's a mixed bag; it has its moments, but I'm not fully convinced it's the best choice. For the price, I expected better performance. Would I recommend it? Only if you're really into tech and don't mind the occasional hiccup.
- Pros: It seems quite good that I can open the door with just my fingerprint, no need to carry keys anymore. The option to use a code is handy for when my hands are wet or something. I like that it works well in bad weather, as it's sealed against water and dust, which is important here in Ahmedabad with the monsoons. Being able to control it from my phone is a nice touch, making it feel modern and secure.
- Cons: The fingerprint reader doesn't always recognize my print right away, especially if my hands are a bit dry or sweaty, which can be frustrating. Setting up the app was a bit tricky for me, and I worry about relying too much on technology that might fail. It seems fairly expensive for what it does, and I'm not sure if it's worth the cost compared to a regular lock. Also, the card key option feels a bit outdated and not very useful.
