As an impulsive buyer, I grabbed this on a whim after getting tired of our old peephole. I expected it to be a quick fix, and it mostly delivered. The reality is it does make life easier, letting me see who's at the door from the couch, which is handy with a kid around. But it's not perfect; the night vision is decent but not amazing, and I wish it had a sturdier build. Overall, it's a good upgrade for the price, does what it says, and I'm happy with it for now :)
- Pros: I quite like how easy it was to set up without any wiring, just swapped it out myself in minutes. The view is wide and clear, no more blind spots, and it works great at night with the camera adjusting for darkness. It's stable and simple to use, just what I needed for checking on deliveries or the kid playing outside.
- Cons: From what I feel, the screen could be a bit bigger for easier viewing, and sometimes the image isn't as sharp as I'd hope in very low light. It's not the most durable thing, feels a bit plasticky, and I worry it might not last long with rough handling.
