as a dad who's always up with my pets and trying to keep things calm at night, i picked this up hoping it'd be a game-changer, and while it does help with those midnight checks, it falls short in a few ways, the design is charming and safe for kids, no worries there, but i found myself wishing it had a dimmer option for when you need just a sliver of light, also after using it for a couple months, it's holding up but i'm not sure it'll last through rough toddler handling, on the plus side, it's easy to clean and doesn't get hot, which is a relief, if you're looking for something basic and cute, it could work, but don't expect too much, maybe i could be wrong, but for the price, i thought it'd be better, overall, it's functional but not incredible
- Pros: the light is incredibly cute and my kid loves the animal shape, it gives off a soft glow that's perfect for nighttime without being too bright, and the touch controls are easy to figure out even in the dark, which is handy for quick adjustments
- Cons: i was disappointed that the brightness doesn't go as low as i'd like for really dark nights, it could be a bit more durable since it feels a bit flimsy, and the battery life isn't great, needing frequent charges, bottom line it's okay but not amazing
