Decision:

as an engineer who loves precision, i had high hopes for this watch to be my go-to tool on the golf course, expecting it to eliminate all the variables in my game. in realiy, while it does a great job with distance measurements and the dynamic green view is a game-changer, the inconsistencies with elevation adjustments and the occaional lag in responsiveness leave me a bit disappointed. it's reliable for most situations, but not the flawless aid i envisioned. i'd recommend it with reservations, as it's good but not perfect for someone as detail-oriented as me.

  • Pros: i appreciate how it gives me the exact yardages to different parts of the green, which really cuts down on my guesswork during a round. the way it shows the green's shape from wherever i am standing is icnredibly helpful for planning my shots, and it adjusts as i move around the course. syncing with my phone for updates and alerts works smoothly, and the build quality feels solid and durable, holding up well in various weather conditions.
  • Cons: from what i feel, the elevation feature doesn't always seem accurate, leading to some miscalculations on hilly lies that have cost me a few strkes. the interface can be a bit clunky at times, making it frustrating to navigate quickly during play. battery life isn't as long as i'd hoped, often needing a recharge after just a couple of rounds, which is inconvenient for longer days out on the course.
