before getting this lamp, i was using a basic floor lamp that just had on/off and a dimmer—pretty boring and not very adaptable. after switching to this one, the ability to change colors and control it with my voice has been a game-changer for movie nights and when the kids want some fun lighting. it arrived on time, which was great. however, it's not perfect; the music sync is hit or miss, and i expected better reliability from a brand i usually trust. overall, it's a decent upgrade but could use some improvements to justify the cost. :)
- Pros: the lamp is quite bright and the colors are vibrant, making it easy to set the mood for different occasions. i like that it works with voice commands and the app, so i can adjust it without getting up. assembly was straightforward, and it came with all the tools needed, which was a nice touch. it fits well in various rooms, from the living area to the bedroom.
- Cons: the music feature seems a bit gimmicky and doesn't always sync well with the sound, which can be disappointing during parties. the build quality feels a bit flimsy for the price, and i've had some connectivity issues with the app at times. it's not as energy-efficient as i hoped, and the light output isn't consistent in all settings.
