As a researcher I looked into a few options before picking this up and it seemed like a good fit for keeping an eye on my cars climate without any fuss Ive been using it for a couple of months now and while its handy for quick checks Ive noticed it doesnt always give the most reliable readings For example on hot days it might show a temperature thats way higher than what it actually feels like inside which is annoying when Im trying to avoid turning my car into a sauna A tip I found is to give it a few minutes after starting the car to stabilize but even then its not perfect I love that its so easy to install and doesnt require any tools or complicated setup just peel and stick and youre good to go It blends in well with my dashboard and doesnt draw attention which I appreciate For the price it does the job but I wouldnt call it a must-have upgrade If youre someone who values comfort and wants to catch AC issues early it might be worth a try but keep in mind its not the most accurate thing out there Overall its a decent little gadget but could be better with some improvements in sensor reliability
- Pros: The display is incredibly clear and easy to read even in bright Texas sun making it simple to check the time and temperature at a glance Installation was a breeze just stick it on the dash and it stays put without any hassle It blends into my car interior nicely not looking out of place or distracting while driving
- Cons: The temperature readings can be a bit off sometimes especially when the car has been sitting in the heat for a while which makes it hard to trust for accuracy It feels a bit cheaply made and might not last long with daily use in Houstons harsh climate The automatic calibration doesnt always work perfectly leading to some guesswork on my part
