i picked this up hoping it would make parking safer for my family, but it's been a mixed bag. it does help avoid some scrapes, and i appreciate not needing any special tools to put it on. but honestly, it's not as reliable as i expected—i've had a few close calls where it didn't warn me in time. for the price, it's okay, but i wouldn't call it a must-have. if you're on a budget and drive one of the compatible lexus models, it might be worth a shot, but don't expect miracles. i've been using it for a couple of months now, and while it's saved me from a dent or two, it's not something i'd rave about.
- Pros: it was incredibly easy to install, just what the doctor ordered for someone like me who's not great with car stuff. i liked that it gives spot-on distance readings, which helps a lot when i'm parking my lexus in tight spots around atlanta with the kids in tow.
