i bought this as a gift for my partner who drives our peugeot 3008 and we have a kid so parking safely is a big deal installation was a breeze no special tools needed just followed the manual and it clicked into place but after using it for a couple of weeks i've noticed it's not super reliable it seems to work fine most of the time but in crowded lots it can get confused and not pick up curbs or other cars until you're really close which defeats the purpose a bit on the plus side it's held up well in rain and cold so no issues with durability just wish it was more consistent maybe it's my car or something but overall it's okay not amazing tips for others make sure to test it in different situations before relying on it fully
- Pros: it seems incredibly easy to install just slots right into the existing wires and mounts which is great for a diy person like me saved me a trip to the mechanic and the materials feel tough and can handle all sorts of weather so probably won't need replacing again soon
- Cons: the detection isn't always spot on sometimes it misses things or beeps when nothing's there which can be a bit nerve-wracking especially in tight spots and for the price i expected it to work perfectly every time but it doesn't
