when i first got this from home of auto parts, i was hoping for something reliable to keep an eye on things while driving, given my experience with cars and having a big family to worry about. the automatic recording is a nice touch, and the dual camera setup does help cover more angles, which is reassuring. but honestly, i've had moments where the footage wasn't clear enough to be useful, like in dim conditions, and that's disappointing. it's functional and does the job most of the time, but it doesn't quite live up to my expectations for the price. overall, it's an okay addition to the car, but i might look for something better next time. :)
- Pros: it grew on me that it starts recording automatically when the car is on, which is quite handy and saves me from fumbling with buttons. the screen is large and responsive, making it easy to see what's happening and navigate through menus without much trouble. i also appreciate how it blends in with the mirror, keeping things looking neat and not drawing attention.
