so, why did i buy this? well, i got it as a gift for my husband, who's into tinkering with things, and we thought it'd be fun to convert his old bike together. after using it for a couple of weeks, i can say it's been quite a learning experience. the kit does what it promises—it turns a standard bike into something electric and powerful, great for commuting or just joyrides. but honestly, i had to rely on online guides and a bit of help to get it set up right, since the instructions weren't super clear for someone not tech-savvy. once it was working, though, the rides have been smooth, and the added features like the light make it fel safer. i'd recommend it to others who don't mind a bit of a challenge and have the patience to match it with their gear. oveeall, from what i feel, it's a solid choice if you're up for the diy aspect.
