as a grandmother and someone who enjoys trying new things i bought this for my grandkids and myself to explore together it's been a fun addition to our family activities we've spent time watching the brain activity during quiet moments or while listening to music and it's sparked some interesting conversations about how our minds work i appreciate that it connects easily to our phones and tablets making it accessible for everyone in the house however i've noticed it works best when we're very still and focused which can be tricky with energetic kids around overall it's a fairly engaging tool for light entertainment and learning but i wouldn't say it's essential just a nice novelty item that adds a bit of wonder to our days
- Pros: i found it fairly easy to set up and use with various devices without any wires which is great for someone like me who isn't too tech-savvy the headset is comfortable to wear for long periods and the battery lasts a good while on a single battery it's fun to see how my brain reacts to different things like music or games and it feels like a neat way to learn about myself without needing special knowledge
- Cons: from what i feel the headset can be a bit sensitive and might not always read accurately especially if i move around too much it requires a battery that isn't included which is a bit of a hassle and while there are many apps some of them feel a bit gimmicky or not very useful for everyday use it's not something i'd rely on for serious purposes just more for curiosity
