My first impression of this lock was wow this is going to make my life so much easier I picked it up from the store which was super convenient and got it home to try out. As a software developer I appreciate smart gadgets but I'm not super techy so I was relieved that it was straightforward to install just a few minutes and I was good to go. Ive been using it for a couple of weeks now and overall its been great for securing my bike when Im out and about in Chicago. The best part is definitely not having to deal with keys anymore its such a relief. However I have had a few moments where the lock didnt unlock immediately with my phone which was annoying especially if Im carrying groceries or something. The alarm is extremely effective I tested it once and it scared the daylights out of me but it does its job well. I love that it feels durable and well-made like it can handle rough weather or attempts to tamper with it. For the price and what it offers I think its a solid choice but it has its quirks that keep it from being perfect. I would recommend it to others who want a simple smart lock without too much hassle just be prepared for occasional connectivity issues. Its not the end of the world but something to keep in mind. Overall Im happy with my purchase and it fits well with my rational approach to buying things that are practical and enhance daily life.
