As a gift buyer for my wife who loves tech and home decor I thought this would be a perfect addition to our place in Boston I used it for a couple of weeks and overall it added a fun modern touch to our living space changing colors and brightness with a tap or voice command was very cool and made our movie nights more immersive The motion sensor was a lifesaver when coming home with arms full of groceries no more fumbling for switches However I did run into issues where the app would disconnect now and then requiring a restart which was annoying For the price it seemed good but not flawless I'd recommend it with a caveat that you might need some patience with the tech side
- Pros: I was very impressed with how easy it was to control the light using my phone or voice it made setting the mood a breeze and the motion sensor worked flawlessly lighting up the room as soon as I entered which was super convenient for late nights
- Cons: The app connection seemed a bit unreliable at times dropping out unexpectedly and the initial setup took longer than I expected which was frustrating for a gift that should be hassle-free
