before i bought this i had a simple string of lights that just stayed on one color it was boring but got the job done after trying this yongkomo thing i thought it would jazz things up and it did in some ways the lights dance to the beat which is cool and my grandkids loved it during our last barbecue but i have a couple of nitpicks the strip isnt very long so it didnt wrap around much of my patio like i hoped and sometimes the colors would lag behind the music which was annoying for a music lover like me it's fun for small gatherings but not a game changer i probably wouldnt buy it again but it's okay for the price
- Pros: i liked how it lit up with the music very vibrant and the colors changed smoothly made my backyard look fun for parties the bluetooth connection was easy to set up from my phone and it worked well outdoors felt sturdy enough for occasional use
- Cons: the light strip was a bit short for my space most likely only covered a small area and the effects while nice didnt sync perfectly with all songs had a few hiccups the usb power meant i had to be near an outlet which was a hassle for outdoor setups
