Before getting this, I was always struggling with manual switches for my kitchen lights, which was a hassle with kids and pets running around. Now, I can control everything from my phone, which is a nice upgrade. It arrived on time, and for the price, it's a decent buy, but it's not perfect. The connection issues and the remote's quality hold it back from being amazing. Still, it does the job for basic lighting changes, and I appreciate the simplicity. :)
- Pros: Honestly, it was quite easy to set up—just plugged it into a USB port and connected via my phone, no electrician needed. I liked that it works with most of my light strips, and having a remote as a backup is handy when my phone's misplaced. The ability to change colors and brightness from my device is convenient for setting the mood in my kitchen.
- Cons: From what I feel, the Bluetooth connection can be a bit finicky at times, dropping out unexpectedly, which is frustrating when I'm trying to adjust things quickly. The remote feels a bit cheap and the buttons are small, making it hard to use, especially with my busy hands. It doesn't seem as durable as I'd hoped after some use.
