I got this light because I ride my bike a lot with my kids and wanted something safer for our family trips around Seattle The problem was cars not seeing us when we braked especially in the rain This light solved that by flaring up bright when I hit the brakes making it clear were stopping The assembly is a breeze just clip it on and it works The takeaway is its a reliable upgrade that adds peace of mind without much fuss though it has a few small quirks
- Pros: The light gets much brighter when I slow down which really helps cars notice me from behind especially in busy traffic It turns on and off by itself when I start or stop riding so I never forget to use it and it saves battery The build feels solid and it handles rain well without any issues
- Cons: From what I feel the battery could last a bit longer on a full charge and it might be too bright for some situations like in very dark areas where it could annoy others The auto feature works most times but occasionally it doesnt activate right away when I begin moving
