As a dad who's always biking or scooting around Seattle I got this to make sure my car is safe for errands and family stuff 🚗 I've been using it for a couple months now and it does its job but not perfectly. The real-time monitoring is nice and I appreciate the alerts but they're hit or miss sometimes which makes me a bit nervous. Installation was straightforward no tools needed really but the sensors feel flimsy and I worry they might fall off. It helps with fuel savings I guess but I haven't seen a huge difference. Overall it's an okay gadget but I expected more reliability for the price. Would I recommend it? Maybe if you're on a tight budget but there are probably better options out there.
- Pros: I like that it keeps an eye on my tire pressure all the time and sends alerts to my phone if something's wrong which is fairly handy for peace of mind on the road. The setup was easy enough that I managed it myself without any fuss and it works with my old car just fine.
- Cons: From what I feel the sensors can be a bit of a beast to keep secure and the alerts don't always come through reliably which is annoying when you're counting on them. Also it drains my phone battery faster than I'd like and the range for the connection isn't great if I'm not right next to the car.
