as an impulsive buyer, i grabbed this on a whim after a long cycling trip left me with tons of leftovers to store. i'm a competent user with kitchen gadgets, and being single, i needed something for meal prep to keep things fresh. to be honest, it does the job for everyday stuff like sealing snacks or sous vide bags, but it's not flawless. the strong suction is a plus, but the noise is noticeable, and i've had a few instances where the seal didn't hold up, which was frustrating. compared to my old manual sealer, it's faster and more convenient, but i expected better consistency. overall, it's helpful for basic needs, but i might look for something more robust if i use it more often. :)
