as someone who's always trying to save money and reduce waste, i had high hopes for this gadget. i expected it to be a game-changer for storing leftovers and prepping meals, but reality hit when i unboxed it—packaging was intact, thankfully. it does a decent job sealing bags, and i've used it for sous vide cooking with good results, but the eu plug issue is a real pain. i'm most likely to keep using it for now, but i'm not blown away. it's functional, but not perfect, and for the price, i hoped for something a bit more robust. overall, it meets basic needs but has its quirks.
- Pros: i was super impressed with how well it removes air from bags, keeping food fresh for ages, and it handles both dry and wet items without any fuss. the compact size is a big plus for my small kitchen, and it came with plenty of bags to get started right away.
- Cons: the plug is only for eu outlets, which was a hassle since i had to use an adapter here in canada, and it feels a bit flimsy, making me question its long-term durability. also, it can be noisy when in use, which is a bit annoying.
