as a teacher and a mom, i bought this as a gift for my son's dog, and i have to say, it's a mixed bag. why did i get it? well, the dog was always looking bored, and i thought this might help. does it work? mostly yes—it keeps him busy, and he loves the surprise treats. but is it perfect? no, not really. the courier called ahead for delivery, which was nice, but when i opened it, i had to fiddle with it to get it working right. it's built strong, no doubt, and it fits dogs of any size, but the mechanism can be finicky. i've been using it for a couple of months now, and while it's good for training and keeping the dog out of trouble, i'm not sure it's worth the hassle sometimes. overall, it's okay, but i could be wrong—maybe it's just my unit. 😕
