I bought this as a gift for my wife, who walks our small dog daily. After using it for a couple of weeks, I can say it's a solid product. It does what it's supposed to do, and the build quality is good, but it's not perfect. I've had a few moments where it didn't retract as smoothly as I'd like, especially when my dog gets excited. For the price, it's decent, but I expected a bit more refinement. It's helped make walks easier, no doubt, but there's room for improvement. I'd recommend it with some reservations, especially if you have a calm pet.
