I bought this as a gift for my sister who has a young child and a energetic dog, and overall, it's been a solid choice. However, the noise and occasional unresponsiveness are drawbacks that keep it from being perfect. For the price, it's a good value, but I wish it were a bit more refined. It's helped with training and keeping the dog close, which is great for family outings :)
