Before I got this Ulanzi holder I was always fumbling with my phone during calls or when trying to record something it was a hassle to keep adjusting things manually. Now with this device it handles the tracking on its own and it works fairly well for my needs. As it seemed to me the automatic face following is reliable most of the time though not flawless. I use it for music-related video chats and it keeps me centered FINALLY making things easier. The rotation is smooth and it holds the phone securely. For a brand I trust it meets expectations though I wish it were a bit more robust. Overall a good addition to my setup.
- Pros: It keeps me in the frame automatically no matter how I move which is great for my video calls and recordings. The holder moves smoothly in all directions allowing for flexible positioning. It combines holding and tracking functions well saving space and effort.
- Cons: It can be a bit slow to react at times especially in low light and the build feels somewhat lightweight not as sturdy as I expected. The AI feature might not always work perfectly leading to occasional misalignment.
