Decision:

Before this, my cat was such a picky drinker—I'd constantly find her ignoring her water bowl, and I worried she wasn't getting enough hydration. It stressed me out, thinking about potential health issues down the line. After getting this fountain, it's like night and day. She's drawn to the moving water and drinks way more often, which makes me feel so much better. The stainless steel is a game-changer; it looks sleek in my kitchen and doesn't hold odors or bacteria like plastic ones I've tried. Cleaning it is super simple, just a quick rinse, and it's good to go. I appreciate that it uses a common plug, so I can move it around or even take it on trips if needed. But man, that noise—when it kicks on, it's not loud, but it's noticeable, and it sometimes startles her or me if we're not expecting it. Also, the sensor isn't perfect; a couple of times, she had to get really close for it to work, which is frustrating for a perfectionist like me. Overall, it's a solid product that does what it promises, but it's not flawless. I'd recommend it with some reservations, especially if you're sensitive to noise or have a super skittish cat. For the price, I expected a bit more precision, but it's still a big improvement over the old bowl. :)

• Pros: My cat actually drinks more now, which is a huge relief since I worry about her health. The material feels sturdy and cleans up easily, no nasty scratches or gunk buildup. I love that it only runs when she's near, saving water and electricity. Delivery was quick, and setup was a breeze, just plug and play.
• Cons: It's fairly noisy when it dispenses water, which can be annoying, especially at night. The price felt a bit high for what it is, and I had a few hiccups with the sensor not always detecting my cat right away. Most likely, it won't work well if you have multiple pets crowding it.
