as a designer and a deal hunter, i'm always looking for upgrades that add value without breaking the bank. i bought this for my suzuki because i wanted something to make getting in and out of the car easier, especially with my pets in tow. after using it for a couple of weeks, it's okay but not amazing. it does what it says—lights up automatically—but it's not super reliable. i had to fiddle with the sensitivity a lot to get it right, and even then, it misses sometimes. for the cost, i expected a bit more polish. it's a decent add-on if you're tired of manual lights, but don't expect it to be flawless. overall, it's a middling product that gets the job done but could be better. :)
