so why did i pick this well i was looking for something special for my brother's birthday and this yasaka racket caught my eye because he's into that classic chinese style grip and it seemed like it would suit him after using it myself a few times i can say it's quite fun the way it handles the ball is smooth and it gives a nice pop when you hit it hard but honestly it might be overkill for a beginner like me i mostly take photos and videos of the kids playing so i'm not an expert but it does the job and looks good doing it i'd recommend it if you're serious about the sport but for casual use it's a bit much overall it's a solid gift and i'm happy with it just not blown away
- Pros: i got this as a gift for my brother who loves table tennis and it's quite impressive how it feels in hand especially for penhold style no need to change anything it just works the power and control are really good making shots feel solid and it seems durable after a bit of tweaking with my grip i can see it lasting a long time which is great for someone like me with kids who might knock it around
- Cons: it's not perfect though the price was quite high for what it is and i found it a bit heavy at first took some getting used to also while it's smart in some ways it doesn't always respond as i expected maybe because i'm a beginner but it could be better for casual play
