i bought this on a whim because i needed something for those late nights grading papers or when the kids are asleep and i want to game without disturbing them. delivery was quick, which was a nice surprise. i've been using it for a couple of weeks now, and it's been decent. it sticks to my car's dashboard for reading during commutes and to the fridge when i'm grabbing a snack. the touch control is intuitive, and the light is gentle on the eyes, but i wish it was a bit brighter for times when i need more illumination. overall, it does what it says, but it has its limits. i'd recommend it with some reservations—it's good for soft lighting needs but not if you need something powerful.
