I bought this hoping to give my old Hyundai a tech makeover, but honestly, it's been a bit of a letdown. Before, I had a simple radio that just played CDs, and it always worked. Now, with this new unit, it's supposed to connect wirelessly and guide me with maps, but half the time it doesn't pick up my voice commands properly—I have to repeat myself, and it's frustrating 😕. The maps are accurate when they work, but it seems slow to respond sometimes, and I've had it freeze on me during a drive. Installation was a nightmare; I thought it would be easy DIY, but I ended up asking my husband to help, and even he struggled. It does make the car look nicer, and when it works, the sound is good for music, but I'm constantly worried it'll glitch out. For someone like me who's not great with tech, it's more hassle than it's worth. I'd say it's okay, but not perfect by any means.
- Pros: It arrived on time, which was nice, and the idea of having maps and music without wires seemed extremely convenient. The screen looks slick, and it does feel like a step up from my old radio, making the car a bit more modern.
- Cons: It's NOT plug-and-play like they said—I had to get help to install it, and it seems finicky. The voice thing doesn't always understand me, and sometimes it just stops working for no reason. For the price, I expected it to be easier to use and more reliable.
