So I bought this AutoSphere unit to upgrade my Citroen C5 from 2009, thinking it would be a smart deal for a tech boost. Why did I go for it? Well, I wanted something that could handle my daily commute and road trips without breaking the bank. How has it held up? After using it for a couple of months, I'd say it's a mixed bag. On the good side, I love how it integrates with my phone for music and navigation—it's incredibly convenient for someone like me who's always on the go. The ability to watch movies is a nice touch for those boring waits. But then, the voice control isn't as smooth as I hoped; sometimes it misunderstands me, and that's annoying. The camera view is helpful, but it doesn't always activate quickly. Overall, it does what it promises, but not flawlessly. Would I recommend it? Maybe, if you're okay with some hiccups and don't mind tinkering a bit. It's not the worst, but not the best either—just average for the price.
- Pros: I found it incredibly easy to connect my phone for calls and music without touching anything, which is great for keeping my hands on the wheel. The maps feature helped me navigate without getting lost, and I enjoyed watching videos during long drives. Being able to just speak to control things made it feel futuristic, and the all-around view when parking was a real help in tight spots. The sound quality was clear and rich, making my drives more enjoyable.
- Cons: From what I feel, the voice commands don't always work perfectly, which can be frustrating when I'm trying to keep my focus on the road.
