As a freelancer who's always on the go, I was excited to upgrade my 2012 Honda CRV with this AutoSphere head unit. From what I feel, it's a solid choice for giving an older car a tech boost without breaking the bank. The integration with my smartphone is seamless for calls and music, and the voice commands add a cool, futuristic touch—though they're not flawless. The navigation is a lifesaver in the city, but the camera could be better for tight spots. Overall, it's a good value for the price, but it has its quirks that keep it from being perfect. I'd recommend it with some patience, but if you're a stickler for perfection, you might find it a bit lacking.
- Pros: I love how this AutoSphere unit makes my old CRV feel brand new with its smart features. The voice control is incredibly responsive, letting me change music or get directions without taking my hands off the wheel, which is a huge safety plus. Wireless connections for my phone work smoothly, and the sound quality is rich and clear, making my daily drives much more enjoyable. The navigation system is reliable and has saved me from getting lost in Chicago traffic more than once.
- Cons: On the downside, the voice assistant can be kinda annoying at times, mishearing commands or responding slowly, which frustrates my perfectionist side. The camera system, while helpful, doesn't always provide a perfect view from all angles, leading to some close calls when parking. Also, the interface feels a bit clunky compared to higher-end systems, and I've noticed occasional glitches that require a restart.
