I got this as a gift for my dad, thinking it would be an easy upgrade for his TV. Out of the box, it looked fine, but setting it up was a hassle – had to connect wires and mess with settings, which took way longer than I expected. Once it was running, the picture quality is honestly impressive; everything looks crisp and vibrant, no complaints there. It handles videos well, even the high-quality ones, without stuttering. But the remote is a letdown – buttons are stiff, and it doesn't always respond right away, making simple tasks annoying. After using it for a short while, I noticed it gets warm, which worries me a bit about long-term use. For the price, it does the job, but it's not perfect. I'd say it's okay if you're patient, but don't expect it to be flawless.
- Pros: It turns my old TV into something way better, like it feels new. The picture is super sharp and clear, which is great for watching stuff. It runs smoothly without any annoying delays, and it has enough space for my apps and shows.
- Cons: It seemed too complicated to set up at first, and I had to fiddle with it a lot. The remote feels cheap and not very responsive, which is frustrating. Sometimes it gets a bit warm after using it for a while, not sure if that's normal.
