I had this issue where my car's interior lights were either too dim or too bright, making night drives a bit risky. Decided to try this Skyfree sensor as a solution since it was affordable and promised an easy fix. Installation was straightforward—just plugged it in, and it started working right away. It's quite effective most of the time, automatically dimming the lights at night and brightening them during the day, which cuts down on glare and makes driving safer. But in some situations, like quick transitions from bright sun to shade, it lags a bit, which can be annoying. Overall, it's a decent upgrade that solved my main problem without breaking the bank, but it's not flawless. I'd say it's a solid middle-of-the-road option—does the job but could be better.
- Pros: It does what it's supposed to by adjusting the lights automatically, which is quite handy for night driving—no more getting blinded by the dashboard. Easy to install as a direct replacement, and it saved me some money compared to other options. Works well in my vehicle without any fuss.
- Cons: Could be wrong, but it doesn't seem as responsive as I'd hoped in very sudden light changes, like when driving under bridges. The build feels a bit cheap, and I'm not sure how long it'll last compared to the original part. Not a huge deal, but it's not perfect.
