As a stay-at-home dad in Bristol, I did a lot of research before buying this Shark vacuum. I was hoping it would make my life easier with the kids and pets around, and in many ways, it does. The self-emptying feature is a game-changer—I only have to deal with the base every couple of months, which saves me time. The cleaning performance is solid; it handles our mixed flooring well and doesn't miss spots often. But it's not perfect. The noise can be a bit much, especially when the baby is napping, and I've had to help it out of tight corners a few times. Voice commands work most of the time, but there are moments when it doesn't respond as expected. Overall, it's a good machine that does what it promises, but I expected a bit more for the cost. If you're looking for something reliable and smart, this could be a fit, but be ready for some minor annoyances.
