Before I got this lamp my bathroom lighting was awful just a single dim bulb that cast shadows everywhere making shaving a risky business and my wife struggled with her makeup I remember one morning I nicked myself bad and thought there has to be a better way After installing this Explorer Outdoors lamp things improved a lot The light is clear and warm helping me see every angle without straining my eyes I use it every morning and its become a reliable part of my routine Compared to other lamps Ive tried this one is fairly affordable and does the job well though it isnt perfect I would recommend it for anyone on a budget who needs better lighting but be ready for some minor annoyances
- Pros: The light is fairly bright and clear making it easy to see details in the mirror without harsh shadows I like that I can adjust the brightness with a simple touch to suit different times of day from dim for early mornings to bright for precise tasks the setup was straightforward with the included cable and plug and it feels safe to use without any electrical worries
- Cons: From what I feel the cord is a bit short at just over three feet which limits where I can place it in my bathroom and the brightness adjustment could be smoother as it sometimes jumps between levels not on the first try I wish it had a memory for my preferred setting and the light warmth while nice isnt quite like real sunlight which I was hoping for
