as an older guy who's not too tech-savvy, i bought this on a whim because my old setup was giving me trouble with my smart pet feeders and cameras. it's been a few weeks since i got it, and overall, it's made a big difference. the internet feels faster and more reliable, especially when streaming videos of my dogs playing :) i appreciate that it works with both wireless and wired connections, and the setup was straightforward—no headaches. it does what it promises, and i'm happy with the purchase, though it could be a bit more user-friendly for installation.
- Pros: i fairly liked how easy it was to set up, just plugged it in and it seemed to work right away. the coverage is great in my home, no dead spots anymore, and i can use it with my wired devices too, which is handy. the power options are flexible, so i didn't have to fuss with extra cords.
- Cons: it seems a bit bulky for ceiling mounting, and i had to get help to install it properly. sometimes the connection drops for a moment, but it comes back quickly. not the cheapest option out there.
