9-inch 2 Din Car Stereo — Stereo Receivers, Hizpo

Ready to give your ride a tech makeover? The Hizpo 9-inch 2 Din Car Stereo is here to jazz up your VW MQB (2018-2021, Polo included) with some serious Android 12 magic. Imagine controlling everything with just a tap on that sleek 9-inch touchscreen—because who needs buttons anyway?

Here’s the lowdown: You’ve got GPS navigation to keep you from getting lost (unless that’s your thing), 4G connectivity so you can stream cat videos at lightning speed, and Bluetooth for those hands-free calls that make you look like a secret agent. Plus, there’s RDS radio for when you’re in the mood for some live tunes or traffic updates, and a DVR to record your road trips (or, you know, just in case).

Under the hood, it’s packing a 4-core processor, 1GB RAM, and 32GB storage—enough muscle to keep things running smoothly without breaking a sweat. So, are you in?

Decision:

i bought this on a whim after seeing it online, thinking it would upgrade my daily drives around belfast. as a healthcare worker, i'm always on the go between shifts, and i love tinkering with gadgets to make life easier—it is what it is. installation was okay, but i had to get a mate to help with the wiring since it wasn't as plug-and-play as i hoped. using it for a couple months now, and while the big screen is handy for maps and playing tunes from my phone, it lags when i try to do too much at once, like navigating while streaming. the radio picks up stations fine, but the sound lacks depth, which is a letdown for music lovers. i've used the recording feature a bit for my scooter rides, but the video quality is just average, and it eats up storage fast. overall, it's a mixed bag—does the job but nothing special. if you're impulsive like me, maybe wait for something better, but it's not terrible for the price.

  • Pros: the screen is large and easy to see while driving, which i appreciate for navigation and music controls. it connects well to my phone for calls and streaming, making commutes less boring. the design fits nicely in my car without looking out of place, and it was fairly simple to set up with basic tools.
  • Cons: it can be slow to respond at times, especially when switching between apps, and the sound quality isn't great—seems a bit flat. the touchscreen isn't very sensitive, so i have to tap multiple times, and it drains my car battery faster than expected. also, the built-in storage fills up quickly with recordings.
