as a dad with kids and a busy life, i did a lot of research before buying this GW Security system, and it's been a solid choice. i've had it for a couple of weeks now, and it's already proven its worth. the clarity is amazing—i can actually see details like license plates or faces, which gives me peace of mind when we're away traveling. the detection feature is smart; it filters out false alarms from animals or weather, so i'm not constantly interrupted. storage-wise, the built-in drive is plenty for now, and i appreciate that it only records when something happens, saving space. remote access works smoothly on my phone, and i get email alerts with snapshots, which is handy. the audio pickup is clear, though i don't use it much. it's held up through some rain and heat here in reims, no problems. a tip: take your time with the initial setup to customize the alerts; it makes a big difference. overall, very reliable and does what it promises without any fuss.
